Cooperative Education is the opportunity for students to use traditional employment to gain new skills and knowledge related to their academic major. In combination with GEOG 2000 this experience results in academic credit towards graduation

In combination with GEOG 2000 this experience results in academic credit towards graduation A Mentor is a professional who provides guidance to students related to both educational and employment goals. Mentors help students to build relationships through professional networking. Job Shadowing is a professional experience that provides students with an understanding of what professionals in their field of study do on a day to day basis. |

If you are interested in gaining an understanding of professions in the geosciences, would like to build a relationship with a professional in the field, or want to expand your professional network then you should consider finding a mentor.
